Radiology Made for Everyone

Proven Results

Over 60% of eligible EM programs have no formal radiology curriculum, despite the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the majority of EM residency program leadership believing radiographic interpretation is an important and necessary skill.

Before its launch, RapidRads underwent studies to verify its efficacy. The program demonstrated statistically significant improvements in learners' capacity to interpret radiographic images accurately.

Upon completion of the course, participants reported marked enhancements in both their confidence levels and sense of competence in interpreting images within the emergency department setting.

The Consensus

Many learners often lack confidence in their ability to interpret their own imaging results

Miss rates pose a significant and widespread concern

Universal radiologist coverage is lacking in many facilities

The proficiency to interpret radiographic images in the emergency department is universally recognized as an essential skill for healthcare providers

Filling The Void

RapidRads was founded by two emergency medicine physicians with the aim of developing a practical radiology learning tool tailored for non-radiologists. While non-radiologists are not expected to interpret images at the same level as radiologists, they do require the confidence and competence to read their own images, as this task is often necessary in their role.
